I made a wish ten years ago
That was the day abound with acclaim and fireworks aglow
I wished that I could make a great progress the following year

Ten years later,
on the same day abound with acclaim and fireworks aglow
I made a wish
a wish I made ten years ago
not because I didn't do a good job
but it seems like everyone had the same wish

This year
nothing has changed
not even my wish
the same wish I made
ten years ago
